Via Airlines introduces nonstop jet service to Orlando Sanford from Mobile, Ala. 

MAITLAND, FLORIDA, U. S.: Via Airlines is announcing a new nonstop destination to/ from the Orlando Sanford International Airport (airport code SFB) to Mobile, Alabama. The new route will offer service four times each week to/from Mobile Regional Airport (airport code MOB). 

"With today's announcement, I'm thrilled Via Airlines has chosen to add Mobile as a new city on their route map. This gives our region nonstop jet service to not only Orlando, but all that Central Florida has to offer," stated Chris Curry, executive director of the Mobile Airport Authority. Curry continued, "Orlando is known as home of Disney World, but will also provide business travelers between Central Florida and Mobile with time and cost savings, which is invaluable in this global economy."

"As a city known for its southern hospitality, we are proud to team up with Via Airlines –an airline known for its hospitality. I applaud the Mobile Airport Authority for their hard work to create an active, accessible airport with multiple destinations and low fares," said Mayor William S. "Sandy" Stimpson. "Via Airlines takes pride in being the airline of the hospitality industry. Our jet service to Mobile will move travelers to and from Florida far faster and more economical than local airport prop services or traveling by car. When flying with us you are truly our guest, not just a passenger," added Macri.
