(MAA) The Mobile Airport Authority and Recaro Aircraft Seating Company have signed an agreement for Recaro to open an office at the Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, AL.
Recaro Aircraft Seating ranks among the world’s top three aircraft seat manufacturers, and offers a premium product portfolio perfectly tailored to the needs of the leading airlines in the world. The company operates plants in Germany, Poland, South Africa, the United States and China as well as service centers in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Asia and Australia.
Recaro’s home in Mobile will be located in the Mobile Airport Authority’s newest phase of its Aerospace Incubator Strategy (AIS) that offers small, low cost, highly flexible solutions to incentivize early location to Mobile at low rate production. Recaro Aircraft Seating recently won the Gold German Design Award 2016.

Established in 1980, The Mobile Airport Authority (MAA) operates the Mobile Regional Airport, a 3,000-acre commercial airport and industrial complex, the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley and the adjacent Mobile Downtown Airport, a combined 1,700-acre complex.
