"Vartan, a World Leader in Interior Cabin Integration, Chooses Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley as its Newest Location”

Vartan Product Support has announced its intent to locate new facilities at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in Mobile, Alabama. Founded in 1997, the company provides technical solutions as interior cabin specialists to other interior component manufacturers and airline customers. They will also help integrate cabin solutions for the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility, also located at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley.

Vartan’s expandable 3,300 square foot facility at the Aeroplex will house a mixture of office space, workshop area, and spare part housing to enable them to provide Airbus with on-site solutions for cabin interiors. In addition to their Mobile facility, they are also located in Charleston, SC; Seattle, WA; China, France and Germany.

Christian Vartan, CEO, explained their growth strategy in these words: "We are 300 employees worldwide and about 60 in the U.S. and plan to expand our business in the coming years. One of our targets would be to extend our existing EASA Part 145 maintenance approval to an FAA approval in order to offer cabin maintenance services to the market.”
"This project is testimony to the Airport Authority’s commitment to help bring rewarding careers in the exciting aviation industry to Mobile. It is another dividend of the community’s partnership with Airbus, and another asset to differentiate Mobile in the aerospace marketplace,” said Mobile Airport Authority Executive Director Roger Wehner. "In addition to being a critical part of the interiors supply chain for new aircraft, Vartan could add another onsite aircraft maintenance competency partner to our aircraft maintenance (MRO) cluster with the ability to modify, refurbish, overhaul, repair and provide their complex knowledge of cabin interior and cabin systems.”
Vartan plans to open its facility at Brookley October, 2015.
