Mobile International Airport Celebrates Avelo Airlines' First 100 Days Connecting the Gulf Coast to Orlando

MOBILE, AL (September 7, 2023) –  Mobile International Airport (BFM) proudly celebrates Avelo Airlines’ remarkable achievement, marking its 100th day of uninterrupted service between BFM and Orlando International Airport (MCO). This milestone underscores the resounding success of the partnership between Avelo Airlines and the Gulf Coast region, which has offered approximately 7,500 customers a convenient, dependable, and budget-friendly air travel option since launching the route in May, providing the only nonstop service to MCO on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Avelo Airlines currently operates flights between BFM and MCO twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays) utilizing spacious Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 jetliners. The schedule has now been extended through February 14, 2024.
